But, when it comes to strategic planning, Marketing & Communications execution, there's a tonne of noise and general lack of leadership around planning, process, and workload. The inertia that follows inhibits follow-through and often impairs proper measurement for short- or long-term success.

I've worked for some corporate giants, as well as small businesses and not-for-profits and I've been mentored by some of the best talents in business, Marketing, and Communications strategy. And, I've also gotten my hands dirty in the practical aspects of Marketing Communications. As an independent consultant, what I've come to realize is, most businesses and organizations simply lack the skill set to organize and manage the work that’s needed to reach a metric goal and the various skills and talents required to execute on strategic planning.

I've got 25 years experience in Marketing and Communications Strategy, as well as practical execution experience. I understand multiple perspectives, having worked in many corporate Marketing & Communications functions. In addition, I'm a mindfulness practitioner, Yoga Therapist, and movement and strength expert of well over 20 years. I'm also a parent who juggles managing a household, business endeavours, as well as a myriad of active volunteer roles and positions in advocacy for children with hearing loss. What has it all taught me? A deep, first-hand connection with the necessary corporate business acumen, strategic thinking, management and organization, as well as perserverance, tenacity, and a lived-experience serving those in marginalized populations, working with little resources, and a jack-of-all trades attitude. I get the struggles you face for your cause.

What I do best
I help organizations and businesses achieve their goals with practical advice and support that clarifies their focus, articulates their unique story, and drives results. I'm especially driven to work with those that serve the youth hearing loss community, as well as other under-served populations. I'm passionate about helping through strategic planning right down to the practical aspects of  Marketing and Communications management to help bridge the gap between strategy and execution. My sweet spots are strategic planning, brand, messaging, communications and content strategy.
